TCCTA & FPECC Scholarship Initiative
Hey Educators! You Are the Face of Texas’ Future.
Every day, through your dedication to education, you help shape the future of Texas and strengthen its workforce. You see the potential, the grit, and the challenges your students face. Now, we want to invest in your growth by awarding 10 professional development scholarships of $300 each.
The Foundation for Professional Excellence in the Community College needs your voice. We are launching The Face of the Future Initiative to bridge the gap between our classrooms and community stakeholders.
We will use your video submissions as a direct appeal to regional investors, business leaders, and philanthropists. By sharing your authentic classroom experiences, you will show investors exactly how funding faculty development secures the economic future of our communities.
RECORDING GUIDELINES
To enter, submit two separate, professional video entries before the campaign deadline of November 22, 2026 (11:59 PM):
Video 1: The Investor Appeal (Strictly 60-90 Seconds)
This is your direct message to community stakeholders. Share a personal narrative about a time you saw professional development change a student’s trajectory. What are the modern demands of your field? How will this $300 scholarship help you better prepare your students for today’s workplace?
***TCCTA and FPECC reserves the right to utilize all content submitted for the competition in their own marketing efforts regardless of being awarded a $300 scholarship.***
